Using "Add > Gliffy Diagram" (or UI Mockup) on Confluence page with more than one column adds the diagram above all the columns

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a page that has more than one column.
      2. Save it, then go to Add > Gliffy Diagram (or UI Mockup).
      3. Create the diagram then Save and Close.

The Gliffy diagram is added above the top of the columns instead of in one. It doesn't appear possible to move the diagram, instead you need to remove and re-create it in the correct column.

I'm not sure what the correct solution would be here since it could be tricky to determine which column the Gliffy or Balsamiq item should be in...

            Hi nmason

Thanks for taking the time to raise this issue. This has been on our backlog now for 2 years with very little movement in that time. Rather than leave this here I'm going to close this out as won't fix, I believe it better reflects the status of the issue.

If the problem is raised again in the future we'll re-address it

            Regards

While your suggestion works for Gliffy (in certain browsers), it does not work for Balsamiq UI Mockup as there is no way to add that once in the editor.

A suggested workaround is to edit the page first, select the column that you want the diagram to show in, then use Insert > Gliffy Diagram.
