      When I try and enable the Confluence Source Editor plug-in I get an error and the Source Editor Configuration Manager and Atlassian Source Editor Javascript Resources stay disabled.

      I get the following error in the logs.

            [CONFSERVER-25601] Confluence Source Editor cannot be enabled

            Interesting, thanks for the info! My case was different where I needed to uninstall the UPM manually from the db and use the version that came with the bundled plugins. (still investigating root cause)

            In my case I tried installing the Confluence Source Editor by downloading the .jar file and adding that to a folder. The way you used to install plugins.

            It was fixed when I used the Confluence Plugin Manager to install the Source Editor.
