Confluence 4.2 x86_64 .bin installer
Scientific Linux 6
Description
In 4.2, there is an "Add Users" link that does not seem to serve any purpose except to cause confusion to anyone with the rights to see it.
At this point, I have:
- Crowd as the only enabled user directory
- External user management enabled in Security Configuration
- Every permission disabled in Crowd that allows Confluence to change anything in Crowd.
So, there is absolutely no way that Confluence should be advertising that new users can be added, especially with a link on the Dashboard to "Add Users". There should be a way to disable that link from being displayed if there are no directories that Confluence has rights to add users to.
