I've managed to get it working embedding a Google Docs spreadsheet but it does not accept any parameters. Parameters are needed to configure how the content is displayed, or should be added by default in the configuration. Read more about parameters here: https://support.google.com/docs/answer/37579?hl=en&ref_topic=2818998

Publish the document to the web, only getting a share link is not enough. Remove any added strings after "pubhtml" in the URL (applicable to spreadsheets).
You should get an URL looking like this:
            https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/<spreadsheet-url>/pubhtml

Just to confirm, this is NOT FIXED.  I've just tried to add a Google Docs spreadsheet on your hosted MyAtlassian confluence service and I just get grey gears icon.

I've fully opened the security on the google doc.
