Unable to cut and paste a body macro from a nested position

      Steps to reproduce
      1. Create a body macro (e.g. section)
      2. Create another body macro nested inside (e.g. column)
      3. Cut and paste this macro to be outside the parent body macro

Macro does not copy and a range of encoding errors are displayed. The user is unable to save as an error is displayer "Failure when converting editor format to storage format"

[CONFSERVER-24050] Unable to cut and paste a body macro from a nested position

            Hi There

Thanks for taking the time to raise and comment on this issue. As you are no doubt aware this has been on our backlog now for quite some time with no progress being made. Rather than leave this here I'm going to close this issue as won't fix. I believe that this better reflects the status of the issue.

            Regards

I encounter this mysterious problem today on CF 4.1.3 when writing a long article. In the middle of my writing CF prompted me that a draft cannot be saved, and ignored by me. When I finished and made a saving. I see the "Failure when converting editor format to storage format." error.

The final work around is: Do not close the problem page(just leave it unsaved), but create a new page, copy rich-text content from the problem page and paste it to the new page, bite by bite; after each paste, do a save of the new page. I eventually meet the chuck of content that causes that error. Here, stop copy rich-text content, but to type into the new page and manually apply the rich-format again, this time it saves with success. Repeat the above cycle until the whole article is transfered to new page. Done.
