      Confluence should provide an "site default" language option in the user profile.

      Automatic language detection doesn't seem to pick up user-installed American English language even when the "Accept-Language" header is sent from the browser. This affects Team Calendars as the default start of week is Monday, but the American English pack changes it to Sunday and this won't happen without manually changing your per-user language settings.
