Confluence global language setting should set language default for all users

    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

      The Team Calendars plugin does not recognize the global language setting of US English. The suggestion from support was to have each of the 500 Confluence users individually set their language preference to US English. This is not practical and seems unnecessary, since the global language setting has already been changed to US English.

      I'm not sure if this only affects the Team Calendar plugin/macro, but that option wasn't available to select as a component.

            We have discuss this with the Team Calendars plugin and identified where exactly this needs to be fixed.

            As a result we created a CONF issue in CONF-23220

            Can you reopen this? The TEAMCAL-318 issue has been resolved with a resolution of WONTFIX because they said something needs to change in Confluence. So now both issues have been resolved and nobody is doing anything on it.
