When using the Tools > Import Word Document tool and opting to "Split by heading" this will potentially create multiple levels of children pages. However, the table of contents created to link to these pages fails to preserve the leveled hierarchy that is created. The only other option for the user is to use the Children macro. This will show the correct hierarchy, but eschews the original order, instead ordering children pages in alphabetical order. Neither of these options are ideal.
