Currently, search weighting is not user-configurable.

This is a request to give users control over the search weighting via the web interface.

Workaround (Only applicable to Confluence 3.5.13 until 5.1.x)

      • Extract the indexingSubsystemContext.xml file from the confluence/WEB-INF/lib/confluence-X.X.X.jar
      • Place the indexingSubsystemContext.xml file in your confluence/WEB-INF/classes directory
      • Edit the indexingSubsystemContext.xml file's contentBoostPostProcessor section, adjusting the weighting as required.
      • Restart Confluence and issue a full reindex of content to update the weighting in the index.
