Description
From a recent support request, the error received was:
Type | Description | Exception | Level | Time |
---|---|---|---|---|
bootstrap | Could not load bootstrap from environment No server id found. |
org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'bootstrapPluginManager' defined in class path resource [setupContext.xml]: Cannot resolve reference to bean 'bootstrapBundledPluginLoader' while setting constructor argument with key [1]; nested exception is org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'bootstrapBundledPluginLoader': FactoryBean threw exception on object creation; nested exception is java.lang.NullPointerException | fatal | 2010-09-16 02:31:15 |
I assumed this was due to a corrupt/incomplete confluence.cfg.xml file, however it was actually due to setting the confluence-init.properties to point to a path that didn't exist on the server.
Can we perhaps include more info in the error, or implement more checks to narrow down the potential causes?
