There are new Confluence distributions. Find them on 'view all' from the dowloads page.
This was forced upon us by external factors (Oracle demanded that we change the way we use our Coherence license). It had to be implemented for a stable release due to time constraints on the new licensing scheme.
We detail the changes here, but it appears the other two links do not include a reference to this (important) change.

The tech overview should explain the specific distinctions between the distros, and we may need an FAQ or section of a page that explains what to do if you've got the wrong distribution
