RTE is showing extra line breaks and space characters on IE

    Description

      To reproduce, enter the following wiki markup:

      line one

      Switch to the rich text editor - there is an extra line break showing between the paragraphs, which contains a space character.

      Although the page is displayed correctly when previewed or saved, this can be confusing for users of the RTE, as it appears that the page is not formatted properly, and the line breaks are difficult to delete.

      This is specific to IE - the behaviour is correct on Firefox and Safari.
