• We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

      Requirements:
      1. Replace current message (or add if there isn't one) with the text "Your evaluation license for <Product Name> has expired. Here's the information you need to continue using <Product Name>."
      2. The "information you need" link needs to go to this recently updated page on WAC:
      http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/expiredevaluation.jsp

            [CONFSERVER-14127] New evaluation expiry message

            Hi Jennifer,

OK great. Yes that's right - all the products will show the same text
(well apart from the product name) and be directed to the
            corresponding page on WAC.

I think this is perfect. All the advocates really wanted was an option for the customer to take care of ordering or renewing on their own instead of NEEDING to contact us to move forward. This was an attempt to decrease emails coming into sale@atlassian.com

I think it is very important for the text to be consistent across products. So for all evaluations ending, customers will be directed towards similar links across products?

Footer change should replace the old text:
EVALUATION LICENSE EXPIRED - If you have enjoyed using Confluence, please consider purchasing it today.
If you need more time, you may extend your evaluation via your My Atlassian account, or please contact us if you have any questions.

            Replacement text in footer:

Information you need points to link: http://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/expiredevaluation.jsp

            • Footer changes - I'll talk to PST/Advocates and get back to you.
            • Yes, the "is expiring" messages should match the "expired" message, as long as they still make sense.
            • Link - yes, sorry about that.

http://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-11810 is the issue Charles is referring to re footer changes.

            • Do we only change the message on the license details page, or are there also footer changes?
            • Do we need to change the "your license is expiring in x days" message to match? (Right now, the "your license will expire" message reuses the same "please contact sales@atlassian.com" that we're getting rid of in the expired message)
