When you first install a zip and start up confluence, the first page you see is the page to enter your license.

On this page it has the following line:

Confluence needs some information before it is fully installed. If at any stage of the installation you need more information, check out the online setup guide. If you get stuck, you can email us, or ask a question in the Confluence forum.

This is probably old and should be updated to point to our support rather than email and forums.
