Description
Websphere and Weblogic ship with libraries that are incompatible versions to what Confluence ships with. This can affect either PDF generation or the RSS feed builder, depending on how Websphere is configured to load classes.
A patch is available for this issue. To patch the problem, do the following:
1. Stop Confluence, and remove all copies of it from your application server.
2. Locate the following jars in your Confluence WEB-INF/lib directory and move them to a backup directory elsewhere.
- saxon-6.5.3-patched.jar
- ss_css2-0.9.3.jar
- xml-apis-1.0.b2.jar
- xmlParserAPIs-2.2.1.jar
3. Download the two patched jars, ss_css2-0.9.3-patched.jar and saxon-6.5.3-patched2.jar, and place them in the WEB-INF/lib directory.
4. Start Confluence
