Creating a new sandbox site in the Organization fails with the error: CLOUD_NOT_ENTITLED_TO_SANDBOX

      Issue Summary

      Creating a new sandbox site in the Organization fails with the error CLOUD_NOT_ENTITLED_TO_SANDBOX.

      This may occur in cases where the sandbox site was deleted initially and newer sandbox creation events fail.

      Steps to Reproduce

      (The issue is reproducible only when the previous sandbox site was deleted in the Org)

      • Create a new sandbox site in the Org

      Expected Results

      The sandbox creation succeeds as expected

      Actual Results

      The sandbox creation fails with the below error in the HAR/dev tools:

      message: "Sandboxes can only be created for products in the parent site that are entitled to have a sandbox"
reason: "CLOUD_NOT_ENTITLED_TO_SANDBOX"

      Workaround

      Reach out to Atlassian Support to resolve the issue and unblock sandbox creation
