feel free to use Clover 4.0.4 with Grails 2.5 if it works

Off by one error. I'm talking about 4.0.4, which was released yesterday (Apr 20 2015).

I understand it may not be 100% compatible, but I wanted to give a datapoint that we were able to go to 2.5.0 with Clover 4.0.4.

            Hi Ted,

Thank you very much for checking this.

            Clover 4.0.5

Are you talking about Clover 4.0.4 (which has been released on 20th of April) or Clover 4.0.5-SNAPSHOT?

... is compatible with Grails 2.5.0

It's great to hear that it works in your project.

However, I need to verify few things to ensure that Clover is fully compatible. For this reason, a just released Clover 4.0.4 does not yet officially support Grails 2.4.5+.

            Cheers
            Marek

See also CLOV-1683 for Grails 3.

Note: Grails 3.0.1 has a critical bug: https://github.com/grails/grails-core/issues/608 which causes that it's impossible start CLI.
