Unable to download maven-clover2-plugin 3.1.12.1 or 4.0.0

Cannot download maven-clover2-plugin from either maven.org (Central repo) or any of its mirrors. This is because of two different problems:

1) The maven-metadata.xml file on maven.org has version 4.0.0 but the actual 4.0.0 jar is missing. When you use search.maven.org to look for maven-clover2-plugin there is no 4.0.0 plugin. Also, the 3.1.12.1 (and perhaps any) plugin cannot be downloaded because the metadata file is incorrect.

2) The mirrors (e.g., ibiblio) have the 4.0.0 jar but their metadata files have incorrect checksums so neither the 4.0.0 nor the 3.1.12.1 (and perhaps other) plugins can be downloaded.

We worked around this by manually storing the plugin in our Artifactory repo.

I realize this is not directly an Atlassian issue, but it means that (if my understanding is correct) no one can download any of the Clover2 plugins from the Central repo or its mirrors.
