Details

    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

    Description

Cloud customers have the ability to stay on the latest and greatest of Atlassian’s offerings, however, the rapid pace of innovation and changes being rolled out can create change fatigue for our customers especially enterprise customers with thousands of users around the globe. Our goal is to provide administrators the ability to control the rate of change that gets released to their product instances.

To-date, we have three tracks available:

      1. Continuous track: products are on the continuous release track by default. They receive changes and features as soon as they become available.
      2. Preview track: this track is only available for a sandbox environment. Products on the preview track will receive the same changes as products on the continuous track, but they receive them as a group, every two weeks.
      3. Bundled track: products on the bundled release track will receive the same changes as products on the continuous track, but they receive them as a group, every two weeks with an additional two weeks of delay.

The bundled track and preview tracks provides admin users the control to receive changes at a regular cadence as well as the ability to preview the upcoming changes and test the new features in a sandbox respectively.

This is our first iteration of the feature and we are open to feedback. Feel free to contact me at mtse@atlassian.com if you have any questions.
