Hi everyone, thank you all for your feedback on this request.
I'm happy to announce that in Bitbucket Data Center 7.19 we have shipped consistent URLs for primary and mirror instances. It means that from now on when you clone a repository from mirrors the only difference in. URL will be the domain name. Old URLs will continue to work too.

Original suggestion
Annoyingly, the URL from the primary BB server to clone is
https://user@server/scm/project/repo.git
But from a smartmirror, the same repo URL is
https://user@smartmirror/scm/bitbucket/project/repo.git
It would be really nice to not have the extra "bitbucket" level in the URL as that would make it easier to support cloning from various servers for read only workflows (like build) to only be concerned about selecting the desired server without having to care what type of server it is.
