When viewing the dashboard, or the pull request list for a given repository, showing CONFLICT markers on the list can lead to slow load times. This slowness is often particularly pronounced when listing declined or merged pull requests.

A set of optimizations around how conflict markers are applied to pull request lists have now been merged. I've backported them to our 4.14.x series, for inclusion in 4.14.8 and on.
I'll update this issue again as the releases for the fix versions are cut and published. At the moment, no released version includes this fix.
Best regards,
Bryan Turner
