From our documentation:

• https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/quick-start-with-bitbucket-server-and-aws-776640254.html it doesn't include AMI ID for new AWS Asia Pacific (Seoul) region - which is ap-northeast-2.

It would be good to have this support added.

Workaround

There are many tools that can copy AMI's between regions.

  In addition, you'd also have to download our CloudFormation template, add a section for "ap-northeast-2" to it locally, and use the edited copy when spinning up via CloudFormation.
