Set excludes for merges and automatic merges

Setting excludes for a merge would be useful in cases where you have certain files or directories are unique to a particular branch and you don't want these to change in an automatic merge. If a user selects files or sets exclude paths, any matching files would remain unchanged through the automatic merge process.
