Add the support for ED25519 SSH keys in Bitbucket Server.

[BSERV-7584] As an admin, I want to use the ED25519 SSH keys

rth1, there is still no upstream release of the Mina SSHD library containing the change we need.

rullmann - The Apache SSHD issue is resolved but a version of the SSHD library with that fix has not been released, yet.

rbarnes: The issue with the Apache SSHD Project has been resolved on 11th of this month.

It would be much appreciated if this issue could make a step forward to support the customers who are concerned about security.

Sure enough updating Apache SSHD is not simply git pull, but maybe a possible timeline is available?

kl1992217449, we use a different tech stack so the limitation remains, I'm afraid.

Bitbucket Cloud now supports ed25519 keys, so one would assume that any limitations have been worked around. The big question is when we will see the result in Bitbucket Server.

Any update on this? We would love to have this feature implemented soon. MINA SSHD does not seem to have even started working on that yet, have you been in contact with them?
