Description
When typing the name of a user, it is very very useful to be able to say "Fred Bloggs" and have it match "Frederick Bloggs", especially if other systems display this user's first name as "Fred". Right now, "Fred Bloggs" matches no users at all, and forces me to remember that on Stash, Fred has a longer name, go back and type out more of Fred's first name before I can get a match.
The same goes for "Steve" and "Steven", or "Ben" and "Benjamin" - common prefixes of common longer first names.
I'm going to leave the "Steve" and "Stephen" variant to another issue, since that requires much smarter name stemming than needed for the simple case above.
