Hunk Map no longer appears on a diff since 3.4.0

Since the upgrade to 3.4 when viewing a side - by side diff on a pull request, the hunk map no longer appears automatically making it difficult to see what changes are in a file.

If I resize the browser window - the hunk maps appear as normal.
