When a commit message is the ETX character, commit lists cannot be retrieved.

When a commit message is the End-of-text character (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/End-of-text_character), commit listing fails.

Workaround: Rebase the commit to change the commit message and remove the ETX character. See http://stackoverflow.com/a/180085/37685 for details.
