Description
The addition of side-by-side diff view in Stash v2.11.2 is GREAT and our Dev team is very appreciative. A number of our projects have some rather large source files and one request for improvement has been to have the side-by-side diff view show only the diffs plus some amount of expandable context. I.e. similar to the expandable context in the "unified diff mode" except that the diffs are shown side-by-side rather than in-line.
I can see how this might be tricky to implement and so if it's not possible or able to put on the roadmap for some time, I think the feature request in STASH-4427 (add keyboard shortcuts/links to jump between diffs in side-by-side view) is a good start.

BSERV-11072 Side-by-side diffs show you the whole file by default, which is silly. Just show me some context around the changed lines

BSERV-11073 For side-by-side diffs, you have to scroll all the way to the top of the file to go back to the overview or see the list of commits
