    • We collect Bitbucket feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

    Description

      • Contributors design their messages to be viewed in a terminal because that's how git is used.
      • Commit messages are generally hard-wrapped and tend to include things like ascii diagrams or code snippets that need a monospace font.
      • If precedent will help me sell this request: This is how GitHub shows its commit messages.
