User with role "project creator" cannot create repository in project that existed at the time of granting permission

When I give the "stash-users" group "Project creator"-permissions in stash admin, they are still not able to create new repositories in existing projects.

When the project creator creates a new project, the button for creating a new repository is visible in the new project, but not in the project that existed at the time of granting rights.
