hg push failing with: abort: could not lock repository …: No space left on device

I struggle with push to a mercurial repository. I search through the issue database and discovered lots of related and resolved issues and the hint to open a new issue and not to add my problem to the only open issue, which is related to a git repository. Therefore I opened up this as a new issue.

In my repository https://bitbucket.org/sjorek/pygments-json-formatter I get the following error while issuing the following push-command:

$ hg push
pushing to ssh://hg@bitbucket.org/sjorek/pygments-json-formatter
searching for changes
5 changesets found
remote: abort: could not lock repository /data/c01/n01/p/vp0048/data/d-953/r-3848953: No space left on device
abort: unexpected response: empty string

Could you please add some space to or free some space on the device ?
