I think you should add some sort of personal status feature for the news feeds. For example, when I open bitbucket, I can say and submit what's on my mind; in addition, I can see what my colleagues are saying and respond to them. I'm sure invoking topics and ideas could be discussed here just like on Facebook. Seriously consider it please, it could expand the overall attraction for team development projects.
