Resolution: Fixed
The site/master issue tracker is full of "+1" posts. It would make more sense to let people vote for issues (similar to Google code).
There may also be an argument for incorporating a "heat" metric similar to launchpad. Heat should be based on issue votes and priority if implemented. The simplicity of a vote mechanism may be prefferable, however.
Either way, a numerical value of the "score" which can be filtered and sorted in the main issue list views would make it easier to prioritise and plan development work for larger projects based on their perceived importance.

BCLOUD-14131 Upvoting or "plus one" button for comments on issues.
- Closed
@remusmp just called my attention to the fact that casting a vote doesn't update the issue's last update time, so it might stick around somewhere near the bottom of the list and never get noticed – which can actually be a reason to go for a +1 comment instead of a vote.
Would it be possible to change that behavior and count votes as an update to the issue, so they will move to the top of the list?
