Creating a scheduled Pipelines for a branch with the "/" character in the name fails

When attempting to create a scheduled Pipeline for a branch with the "/" character in its name, the UI shows no Step options, see the image below:

Switching to a different branch without this character on its name shows the correct steps which are supposed to be on that branch's yml file:\\

However switching back to the branch with "/" on its name will show the same steps which can be seen on the previously selected branch:
