In order to improve Bitbucket and allow all users to easily add IPs to the whitelist, we would like to request a feature to allow users to whitelist IPs using REST API or that allow these to be added in bulk, either uploading a JSON/CSV file or a list (eg. ip1.ip2,ip3).

[BCLOUD-17275] Allow Whitelisting IPs using REST API

I hope that the functionality will be implemented and delivered. In an environment where the infrastructure is operating, the IP Range changes dynamically and frequently, and it is not easy to reflect this every time in our firewall policy.

Though its a closed ticket, just stressing that it is quite important for a lot of folks. Appreciate some consideration into the implementation of this.

After reviewing this issue, we determined that it was low priority and unlikely to be worked on in the near future. We appreciate your input, but want to be transparent about our decision to not fix this right now.

This is the first thing I looked for when we migrated to the cloud today.  We would really like this feature completed, manually adding/removing/updating IPs does not work for any organization that doesn't use static VPNs, has remote workers not on static IPs, but rather uses MFA to a company resource that then manages who's allowed to access instantly across company assets.

Ditto! We're in the same boat. Either Atlassian should host their own (in our case MacOS runners) or give us the ability to dynamically update the ranges. Disabling access controls (firewalls) isn't a solution.
