Inconsistent, non up to data files

When in the source browser view, an older version of the source code is shown.
Sometimes switching between branch/tags helps, but once you click on one of the folders, it says the files aren't there:

"Hmm... can't find that one
That file or directory doesn’t exist. Go back to the previous page and try another one."

The commit log shows all the commits and the files are there when cloning the repo.
