This has completely made Sourcetree useless for merging for me. I've been able to work around this (terminal works for me?), but it's a total pain.

Also out team is completely halted for this error FROM TODAY. Yesterday it works well...

We use Visual Studio 2017 and for all the projects hosted on BitBucket we have the following error:

"Git failed with a fatal error. HttpRequestException encountered cannot spawn /C/Program Files (x86)/Microsoft Visual Studio/2017/Community/Common7/IDE/CommonExtensions/Microsoft/TeamFoundation/Team Explorer/Git/mingw32/libexec/git-core/git-askpass.exe: No such file or directory could not read Username for 'https://bitbucket.org': terminal prompts disabled"

Something happened and it's critical. Please answer...

            regards Roberto
