Markdown README.md not rendering in src view ( localization related issue on non-english user profiles)

This issue appear to be related to the portal translation engine for non-english users with non-english language set in user preferences.

Possible fix:

• set user profile language to EN
• clear browser cache
• set user profile language to the favorite one.

ORIGINAL

In the src view, the file README.md is not rendered (or at least it get rendered once in a (long long) while). Instead of a formatted text, the markdown plain text is shown.

Browser: Chrome 67.0.3396.99 and firefox 60.0.2
