    Description

The @ sign is very commonly used in programming languages nowadays and it would be really helpful to be able to use it comments without the need to enclose such elements with a code block.

E.g. I have a feature "Insert @Override annotation" in my software. Users refer to it in their reports. It doesn't make much sense to me to highlight the annotation with a code block to refer to this option, yet it seems the only workaround for now: "Insert @Override annotation".

Is this something you deliberately don't want to support or are there resource constraints? I would certainly volunteer if you need any help. Please let me know. Thanks.
