Description
Summary
In versions after Bamboo 5.10.x, Remote Triggers require Trigger IP to be specified for SVN
Steps to Reproduce
- Set up a linked repository on a different server to Bamboo
- Add a new Linked SVN repository
- Configure a Plan with a Remote Trigger – leave the Trigger IP blank
- Configure a post-commit hook on your repository to call the trigger API
- Commit a change to trigger the build
Expected Results
As this was available in Bamboo 5.10, it is expected that the build triggers in newer versions as well
Actual Results
The build does not trigger, and the below exception is thrown in the atlassian-bamboo.log file:
2017-05-18 01:03:16,454 INFO [http-nio-8085-exec-20] [DefaultErrorHandler] Recording an error: TriggerRemoteBuild : Build request for plan [<plan name>] originated from 172.20.52.22 which is not an allowed address : <PLAN KEY>
Workaround
Add the Trigger IP to the Trigger
