Override linked repository settings on master branch

Problem Definition

Bamboo allows users to override linked repository settings on branches, but not master.

If a company has one large repository linked centrally, and they only need to check out certain portions, it would help to be able to override the "include files" option in each Plan.

Suggested Solution

Implement repository settings override on master (trunk) plan.

Workaround

There are two possible workarounds at time of writing:

1. (For Bamboo 5.14+) Create a branch for each Plan, and override the repository settings on the branch
   • Optionally use Bamboo's Branch merging to merge changes back to Master
2. Created one Linked repository for each plan, and use the "Include files" option to only include certain subdirectories
