Automatically spread maven multi module across parallel jobs

      • Maven can run in parallel with the "-T" option
      • Bamboo can run multiple jobs in parallel

      for a large project involving 100s of modules, I'd like a plugin that would allow me to spread compilation or test across X number of generic jobs. I'd configured a plan with a maven inspection phase with one job and a maven execution phase with one job-template. Upon execution the inspection phase would determine what could be run in parallel and generate list of "-pl group:artifact" for each parallel track.

      The execution phase would fork off as many job templates as desired and would populate their command line from the results of the maven inspection phase.

      my 10hr build would compress to 1 hr and be spread across 10-20 systems.

      I figure this may require a maven plugin and a bamboo plugin to accomplish.
