      I imagine this would be similar to the existing hipchat integration.

            We need this for Bamboo On-demand. We're moving to Slack because HipChat will not allow us to add users to our private rooms if they already have a HipChat account.

            I'd definitely be more interested in the plugin if it supported individual notifications. I'd like to have the option for build failure messages to just go to the committer (like Bamboo can do with its email notifications).
