Custom build functionality is broken in Bamboo 5.x

    Description

      What exactly happens? There is a typical task: Checkout from Git. This task now fails git fails to checkout to specified custom revision (we use custom builds for deploying custom revisions on sandbox servers).

      git complains on following:

      simple	23-Sep-2013 09:04:58	Checking out revision 89d771a.
simple	23-Sep-2013 09:04:58	error: pathspec '89d771a' did not match any file(s) known to git.
error	23-Sep-2013 09:04:58	Checkout to revision 89d771a has failed.
simple	23-Sep-2013 09:04:58	Warning: failed to checkout source code to directory '/home/bamboo/bamboo-agent-home/xml-data/build-dir/MRS-WEBSITE4-DISTR/re

      As you can see, git does not see 89d771a to be a valid commit.
