Set the option to configure alternate path for settings file when importing a maven project

    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

The maven import and the dependency processor uses the maven embedder not the system binary and as such the import uses user defined. In the case of a dependency processor, users have the option to specify alternative paths in case the files are located somewhere centrally. It will be great to expand this feature to maven import as well since both uses the maven embedder.

Currently (Bamboo 5.0.1) the maven import is located inside the admin panel. Therefore this function is limited to a small number of users. It should be examinated to move this feature back to the "create plan" option, which is generally accessible for a broader number of users.
