Testing customizations to the default windows 64bit image ( ami-976edafe ) shows that it is taking about 5 minutes for the agent to boot up; plus the time to boot up the instance makes loading Windows agents to take 8-10 minutes.

A linux agent is generally available in ~1min. Please improve the loading process for Windows instances.

By the way, trying to fasten the process by using this script (c:\opt\bamboo-elastic-agent\bin\prepareInstanceForSaving.bat), as it is described here, doesn't make any difference.

[BAM-12459] Windows EC2 instances load too slow

Our windows Agents on AWS have now reached the 45 minute stretch?????

Get this fixed asap, this breaks the whole idea about CI.

            History: 10 min - 14 min - 17 min - 20 min - 45 min

At least let someone from Atlassian show some courtesy and post back here.

Provide us with some relevant info so we can get our timings up to par again.

Ours seems to get slower and slower. Currently at 30 minutes to startup after terminating.

Can Atlassian provide an update for this issue?
Would really appreciate it resolved - a startup of 15-20 minutes is really frustrating...

I have the same problem. Really annoying to have the build agent download files on each startup. It is kinda slow to start anyway... Please fix this!

I don't know why this issue has a minor priority. It's really frustrating to wait such a long time for a build to execute.

Windows agent takes 15 minutes, the agent that stays pending very long.

My Win instance(s) boots up in ~15 min. However, sometimes it is 30 or even 40 minutes.
