    • Bamboo Standalone 3.3.2 on Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2

    Description

After updating bamboo from 3.2.3 to 3.3.2 CVS updates always pull the whole CVS repository root instead of the specified module.

The CVS update command sent by bamboo 3.2.3 looked like this:
      Running CVS command: 'update -d -P -kb -D 2011-10-28 16:49:00 +0200 '
      ... in: 'Z:/bamboo/bamboo-home/xml-data/build-dir/ACC-DEF-JOB1/siemens/03098 - Siemens ACC'
      ... CVSROOT: ':pserver:bamboo@carl:/var/cvs'

While the update command (same plan and same job) sent by bamboo 3.3.2 is:
      Running CVS command: 'update -d -P -kb -D 2011-11-07 09:19:52 +0100 '
      ... in: 'Z:/bamboo/bamboo-home/xml-data/build-dir/ACC-DEF-JOB1'
      ... CVSROOT: ':pserver:bamboo@carl:/var/cvs'

Note the missing module name in the path.

Forcing clean builds is our current workaround which increases build time significantly.
