Improve error message when transition issue fail due to incorrect value sent using Smart Values

    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

Currently, the error message that is shown when a transition issue fails is not accurate and self-explanatory to the customers when using Smart values to pass the status ID.

The error message that is seen:

Destination status could not be resolved. If using a smart-value ensure this resolves to a numeric status ID or untranslated name for issues (with current status):

The second piece of the message is not clear what it is, and we could improve the message to something along these lines:

Destination status could not be resolved. If using a smart-value, ensure the value being set in the smart value is a status ID present in the project workflow.
