Unnecessary alt text for decorative images

      Issue Summary

      The unnecessary alt is provided for the “umbrella” (umbrella) decorative image (beside “Bamboo DC VPATs version update” link text) in the email.

      Steps to Reproduce

      Open an email such as the below with a screen reader. This comes from Atlassian home.
      Note how the graphic as the start of the email reads.
      Navigate to mentioned image and inspect the code of the image.
      Notice that decorative images have "alt" attribute with text that is describing the decorative image.

      Actual Results

      Unnecessary alt is provided for “umbrella” (umbrella) decorative image ( beside “Bamboo DC VPATs version update” link text) in the email. As a result, screen reader users were able to access the decorative image and it was communicated as “ATLAS-41608.png image”

      Expected Results

      Decorative images should be skipped by the screen reader.

      Provide an empty "alt" attribute i.e., (alt="") for mentioned decorative image.

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
