If you create an issue within Slack using /jira create or from the Slack message options dropdown, a notification is sent from the Jira Cloud for the Slack app confirming that the issue was created.
Currently, it is not possible to disable the acknowledgment notification when an issue is created in Slack. The user would like a feature to disable and delete the same.

At the moment it appears that through Slack integration with Jira projects and Automation Rules, we can send Slack messages for any scenario, but we lack the ability to prevent (and delete) them when creating Jira issues from Slack.
Our use case is with multiple people creating Jira issues from the same Slack message. Specific example: Manager requested everyone on their team to create an issue for themselves for training on a new system. Each time someone creates an issue, the confirmation is sent. The Manager tracks their team's issues in Jira and doesn't need or want the Slack confirmations. The rest of the team doesn't want Slack notifications every time an issue is created, and on top of that when more than a few people create an issue in a short time frame, that Slack thread becomes cluttered.
For this particular example, the team doesn't actually want any confirmations (in Slack), but appreciate the convenience of being able to create Jira issues from Slack. For some other teams, they'd like to be able to use the existing Filter functionality (in Jira's Slack integration) to only send (or exclude) confirmations in specific situations.
